What is it? A state program that helps electric customers to pay their bills. What do you get? Money will be sent to your electric company to pay current electric bills or past due bills that were owed before July 1, 2000. The amount you will receive is based on your income and electricity usage. How long do you get it? You can continue to receive EUSP for as long as you qualify. |

Households who qualify for EUSP can also sign up for the Utility Service Protection Program (USPP), which can help protect you from utility cut-offs.
Households receiving MEAP may qualify for the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which provides free weather stripping, caulking, etc. to help make your home more fuel efficient and comfortable. |
