Health Care for the Homeless provides a comprehensive range of services to low income people or those experiencing homelessness. Services include:
- Primary and Preventive Medical Care
- Mental Health Services
- Social Work and case management (including referrals for food & shelter)
- Addiction treatment through a State-Certified Outpatient Treatment Program

The Baltimore Homeless Services Inc. was created by the Health Department of Baltimore City. The mission of Baltimore Homeless Services, Inc. (BHS) is to make homelessness a rare and brief experience in Baltimore City. They operate programs such as drop in centers, emergency shelters, transitional and permanent housing, and legal services.
