Do I qualify for TCA?

You qualify for TCA if you:
  • Have a child under the age of 18, or under 19 if the child is still in school
  • Are a U.S. citizen or qualified alien
  • Are pursuing child support (if applicable)
  • Have a qualifying income (see the table below)
For example, if your family size is four and your household net income is $695 or less per month, you’ll likely qualify for TCA.

Look Out
All adults receiving TCA are required to participate in work activities and training for at least 30 hours a week. These activities are designed to help you gain the experience you need to find a job.
