What is it?
The Rental Allowance Program (RAP) gives rent money to people who have been forced out of their homes or who will soon be forced out of their homes. It is run by the Maryland Department of Rental and Housing Assistance. What do you get? If you live in the Baltimore area your landlord gets between $340 and $560 each month for 1 year. The exact amount depends on the size of your family. How long do you get it? Assistance is given for one year, after that you may apply for an extended assistance period. |
