What is it? The Maryland Free and Reduced Price Meal program is a government sponsored program that provides free or low-cost meals to children in school. What do I get? Free or reduced-price meals at school. Participating programs may give students breakfast, lunch and/or snacks. The reduced price meal is $.40 for lunch and $.30 for breakfast. How long do I get it? Your children can get free and reduced price meals during the school year. You will have to re-apply at the beginning of each school year. |
